Comments about Bayside Palau

It was mine second visit to the charming and pristine Palau and to Bayside.

I was again very pleased with the accommodation and all the services (breakfast, car rental organisation etc.), advice and help that came with the stay. Again the possibility to take a kayak and explore Nicobay and even the outer parts either under or above water is unique and you will find something new every trip you make. 

As for the one that like diving a boat from the dive company (Sams) will pick you up from the small harbor just 5 min from the house, which is very convenient and you dont have to worry about the morning sometimes heavy traffic.

All in all I was again very pleased together with my girlfriend.

Thank you Cliff! We had a fantastic stay in this very private spacious fully equiped bed and breakfast, which I would rather call a Villa. Palau has limited good standard sea front accommodation, where you can experience without a tour the Serengeti of sealife. At Bayside it is all at Cliff's backyard. We paddled in Nikko Bay and even all the way to Risong Bay. Snorkeled in several places and saw wonderful corals and fish and other sealife. Every morning enjoyed tasty breakfast according to our wishes served to our balcony. I highly recommend after 36 year's  travel industry experience Bayside bed and breakfast to couples, even honeymooners who want privacy and want to be independant travellers. In Bayside bed and breakfast Cliff has really thought about every small detail useful to know, maps, books and services if needed and always ready to be helpful. One is close to nature, some roosters waking up in the morning and two friendly dogs hanging around the house. Compered with Koror "city's" terrible traffic this was a heaven. Really good value for money but must be reserved in time as it is only one unit!

Danke Cliff, wir haben die schönen Tage bei Dir im Haus genossen. Ein Ort der Ruhe im Vergleich zum stark befahrenen Koror (wie ein Ort mit 15000 Einwohnern so viel Autoverkehr haben kann, wird mir ewig ein Rätsel bleiben). Die Lage direkt an der Nikko-Bucht ist ideal und die kostenlos zur Verfügung stehenden Kajaks haben wir täglich für Ausfahrten genutzt. Die Bay ist fantastisch und es gibt auch wirklich viel zu entdecken. Den vom Kajak aus selbst gefangen Fisch (spanische Makrele und Thunfisch) haben wir abends im Krämers-Restaurant frisch zubereiten lassen. Cliff hat das super vermittelt. Zum Frühstück gibt es jeden Tag ein großes Paket frisches Obst, auch Orangensaft, Ei, Toast usw.. Die beiden Hunde und die Katze schauen immer mal wieder zu Besuch vorbei und sorgen für Unterhaltung. Es ist alles viel angenehmer, persönlicher und relaxter als in den Hotels des lauten Korors. Ein Mietwagen ist aus unserer Sicht notwendig, damit man auch immer in die Stadt und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt, aber auch den besorgt Cliff zu einen sehr günstigen Mietpreis. Wir würden das Bayside Palau jederzeit wieder buchen und können es nur weiter empfehlen

Thank you for the fabulous stay at Bayside Palau B&B. I am so grateful to have had 3 weeks of this lovely home, away from home. I loved the village atmosphere with little roosters alarm clock and friendly dogs and cat saying hello. To have a kayak available when ever I wanted was an fantastic extra to glide out and about into the many lovely bays at any time I felt like it. With my camera I took almost 600 photos, to have a forever memory to come back to. Thank you Cliff for your caring hospitality and availability at any time I needed. Nature is so beautiful around Palau, that the soul and heart just open up. I returned home full of strength, joy and happiness. Bayside Palau B & B is the best place to be your own guide in Paradis. Thank you Cliff for a most enjoyable stay at Bayside. It was a great opportunity to spend peaceful, relaxing time in the village environment away from hotels, yet still having all the comforts of a home away from home. Breakfasts were delicious, especially the pancakes! Thoroughly enjoyed the hours spent snorkeling too, found a sea grass file fish which was new to us. Everything well worth the 5 flights it took to get there -- thank you!!

Many thanks for pleasant atmosphere and friendly access in charming natural paradise of Palau. We never forget beautiful holiday during Christmas time  ashore of Nikko Bay especially fantastic kayaking among Rock Islands.

It has been a pleasure to stay at Bayside. The room is lovely and we have particularly enjoyed the breakfasts on the deck.

Just back from seven relaxing days in the tranquil paradise that is Bayside B&B, we are truly thankful for a great time at the very end of Ngermid. We recommend Cliff's place to anyone who seeks a hideaway from big hotels, Chinese travel groups and the busyness of what we call everyday live. Cliff is a great host, knows Palau like his pocket, and is always happy to share his experience. Don't forget to bring snorkeling gear: the open pool is waiting right below your balcony.
